Our fresh smelling Bug Off Spray is made with essential oils that are proven to repel bugs. Catnip Essential oil has been shown to be more effective at repelling insects than DEET. We’ve combined Catnip essential oil with other proven bug repellents like Citronella, Lemon Eucalyptus and Cedarwood essential oils.
The essential oils are mixed with Polysorbate 20 which allows the oils to be mixed with Witch Hazel. Some separation may occur, but just give your bottle a little shake before application and you are good to go.
Shelf life: as long as the container is protected from extreme heat or cold and kept out of direct sunlight, you should be able to use your Bug Off Spray over a 16-20 month period. Personally, we’ve used Bug Off Spray that is 2 years old (or maybe more?!) and we find it works just fine.
Ingredients: witch hazel, polysorbate 20 (emulsifier), essential oils of catnip, citronella, lemon eucalyptus, cedarwood, clove bud and peppermint
